<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem associated with control for transmitting radio communication packets in aggregate being set by control of a transmission origin at the communication start, causing no specific MAC frame to be specified for changing an amount of aggregation in accordance with the operation state of a reception side after the communication start. <P>SOLUTION: A radio communication system includes plural radio terminals and a radio base station. The radio base station includes a transmission part for aggregating plural packets and transmitting them as one communication packet. Further, each of the radio terminal includes: a reception part for receiving the communication packet that is aggregated and transmitted by the transmission part; a detection part for detecting an operation state of the radio terminal; and a notification part for notifying the radio base station of a change in an aggregation amount of packets in accordance with the operation state of the radio terminal, the state detected by the detection part when the aggregated communication packet is transmitted to the radio terminal from the radio base station by the transmission part.
