PURPOSE:To obtain a permeable membrane enhanced in the recovery ratio of albumin and efficiently removing a pathogenic macromolecule, constituted so as to have such a structure that dense layers are provided to both surfaces of a flat film type polyolefin membrane and an aggregate layer comprising independent fine particles having a specific particle size is formed between said dense layers and both surfaces are communicated by labyrinthine communicated pores. CONSTITUTION:Polypropylene, an org. filler easily soluble in an extractant such as liquid paraffin and a crystal nucleus forming agent such as 1,3,2,4-dibenzylidene sorbitol are melted and kneaded while the kneaded mixture is emitted from a die in a molten state to form a molten film which is, in turn, contacted with water in a cooling layer to be solidified under cooling while the solidified film is extracted with the extractant not dissolving polypropylene to remove the org. filler. Thus obtained flat film type permeable membrane 1 has a film thickness T of 10-500mum and has such a structure that dense layers 2a, 2b are formed to both surfaces and an aggregate layer 4 comprising independent fine particles with an average particle size of 0.01-5mum is formed therebetween and both surfaces are communicated with labyrinthine communicated pores 5.
