A camera and an electronic device. The camera comprises a camera body (1) and a liquid-crystal electric-control dimming layer (13), wherein a lens (11) is provided on the camera body (1); the liquid-crystal electric-control dimming layer (13) is correspondingly arranged outside the lens (11), so that the lens (11) receives outside light rays through the liquid-crystal electric-control dimming layer (13); and the liquid-crystal electric-control dimming layer (13) is electrically connected to the camera body (1) through a switch (14). In the camera, since the liquid-crystal electric-control dimming layer (13) is arranged at the front end of the lens (11), in the case where the liquid-crystal electric-control dimming layer (13) is closed, an outside image cannot be shot even if the camera (1) is controlled by a hacker or a Trojan horse program, so that the effect of preventing a lawbreaker from using a camera to secretly shoot can be achieved, thereby protecting rights of a user and preventing the user from being harmed. |
