摘要 The present invention relates to a chelate free chemical decontamination reagent for the removal of the dense radioactive oxide layer on the metal surface including reducing agents, a reducing metal ion and an inorganic acid. As the chemical decontamination reagent can remove a dense radioactive oxide layer on a metal surface effectively in a proper temperature and perform decontamination by a process to contact contaminated radioactive oxide with a chemical decontamination reagent, the invention is very economical in terms of process cost and process time. In additions, because the invention doesn′t use an organic acid complexing agent such as an oxalic acid and the like and a reducing agent is usually used as a main decontamination reagent, therefore, remaining reducing agents can be easily removed by using an oxidizing agent after decontamination, a secondary radioactive waste can be minimized through easy removal of a decontamination reagent, and radioactive nuclide to remain in decontamination solution can be effectively removed.
