<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving circuit of an electro-optic device, which is capable of achieving improvement of display quality and reduction of power consumption without considerable increase in size. <P>SOLUTION: The driving circuit of an electro-optic device includes: a gate circuit which selects a plurality of gate lines in a prescribed order; a source driving circuit which supplies, to a pixel corresponding to one source line, a data signal having a voltage corresponding to a gradation and a polarity of the pixel via the source line; and a storage capacitance driving circuit which is provided on the side opposite to the gate circuit with a display region comprising a plurality of pixels therebetween and supplies a prescribed voltage to storage capacitance lines. Prescribed voltages are supplied to the storage capacitance lines from the gate circuit and the storage capacitance driving circuit for prescribed periods respectively, and the gate circuit supplies the prescribed voltage to an n-th storage capacitance line only for a period which starts with selection of an n-th gate line and ends with selection of an (n+1)th gate line after passage of the selection period of the n-th gate line. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
