The present invention is provided with: a data-symbol generation unit (1) which generates one block of data symbols for each block; a storage and processing unit (3) in which the data symbol at a first position among the one block of data symbols is stored as a duplication symbol; a symbol insertion unit (2) which generates a block symbol by arranging the data symbols and the duplication symbol such that the duplication symbol stored in the storage and processing unit (3) is inserted at a second position in the one block of data symbols; a time/frequency conversion unit (5) which converts the block symbol into a frequency domain signal; an interpolation processing unit (8) which performs interpolation processing with respect to the frequency domain signal; and a CP insertion unit (9) which inserts a cyclic prefix into the signal that has been subjected to interpolation processing, to generate a block signal.
