A display device includes a display panel and a light source part. The display panel includes a first color filter having a first main color, a second filter having a second main color, and a third color filter having a third main color. The light source part provides light to the display panel. The light source part includes a first light source which generates a first main color light and a second light source which generates mixture light of a second main color and a third main color. The first light source and the second light source are alternately turned on. Thus, the color reproduction of a display device can be improved.
