PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an I/O module capable of connecting more types of field devices than those of conventional ones.SOLUTION: An I/O module 12 comprises: a base plate BP having a plurality of connection terminals T1 to be connected to a field device; a universal I/O module M2 that is detachably provided to the base plate BP and includes a plurality of universal circuits capable of inputting an analog signal from the field device, outputting an analog signal to the field device, inputting a digital signal from the field device, and outputting a digital signal to the field device; and an option module M1 that is detachably provided to the base plate BP and has a circuit connecting the connection terminal T1 with the universal I/O module M2. |
