Disclosed are a minimization of drive test method and device. The method comprises: determining, by a terminal, the cycle of measurement of minimization of drive tests of one or more cells according to the capability thereof, and conducting the measurement of the minimization of drive tests of the one or more cells in accordance with the cycle of measurement; and after the measurement is completed, conducting, by the terminal, log recording. The present invention solves the problems that redundant information about the minimization of drive tests (MDT) is stored and the variation of a neighbour cell cannot be recorded in real time, thereby improving the entire performance of the MDT. |
