PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To place a print head at a retreat position and an operation position by opening/closing a cover part.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes: an image forming member; a cover part which has a pressing part; a moving member disposed so as to be freely moved, which has a first engagement part to be engaged with the pressing part; a first arm part configured to be swung according as the moving member is moved, which has a second engagement part to be engaged with the moving member; and a head part configured to place a print head at an operation position and a retreat position according as the first arm part is swung, which has a third engagement part to be engaged with the first arm part and the print head. The first arm part is configured to amplify the amount of movement of the moving member to move the head part. When the cover part is opened and closed, the moving member is moved, and the first arm part is swung, and the print head is placed at the operation position and the retreat position. |
