<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing a foamable composite resin particle which has excellent foaming properties, leaves less residue of a styrene monomer and is excellent in fire retardancy, rigidity and restorability.SOLUTION: A method of producing a foamable composite resin particle containing a composite resin of a polyolefin resin and polystyrene resin, an organic physical foaming agent and a flame retardant comprises dispersing polyolefin resin nucleus particles prepared by kneading a polyolefin resin with a specified flame retardant in an aqueous medium, immersion-polymerizing the polyolefin resin nucleus particles with styrenic monomers in a specified ratio and impregnating the resultant product with a foaming agent.</p> |
