<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a forgery preventing medium that achieves higher forgery preventing effects by a simple determination method without using a machine, and to provide a printed matter. <P>SOLUTION: At least one or more forgery preventing layers each consisting of an adhesive layer, a patterned reflective layer, and a diffraction grating layer, are provided at positions set so as to allow a front/back composite pattern to appear, on the whole or a part of the front and back surfaces of a base material. When seeing through the base material provided with the forgery preventing layers while holding it to the light, the patterned reflective layers block transmitted light to allow the appearance of the front/back composite pattern that is not recognizable on each of the front and back individually. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
