The surgical device adapter (200) includes: a housing (232) including a proximal end couplable to a distal end of a handle assembly (100); and a drive coupling assembly (210) and selectively couplable to the handle assembly (100), the drive coupling assembly (210) including a tubular clamping member (250) having at least one flexible member (254), the tubular clamping member (250) movable from a proximal position in which the at least one flexible member (254) is disengaged from the distal end of the handle assembly (100) to a distal position in which the at least one flexible member (254) is engaged to the distal end of the handle assembly (100).
