WET GRANULATION APPARATUS

There is provided a wet granulation apparatus capable of effectively separating mediums while maintaining an appropriate granulation treatment. The wet granulation apparatus uses beads to disperse a target material supplied through an introduction opening (54a), and separates the target material from beads and discharges the separated target material to an insertion opening (55a). The wet granulation apparatus includes: a housing (2); a rotary container (5) rotatably supported on the housing (2); a container rotating mechanism (6) for rotating the container (5); a dispersing rotor disposed in the container (5) and defining a treatment gap (S) in cooperation with an inner wall surface of the container (5), the dispersing rotor including a medium discharge opening (71 a) formed in a circumferential wall thereof for allowing granulation mediums having moved in the cylinder through the treatment gap (S) to be discharged to the treatment gap (S); a rotor rotating mechanism (8) for rotating the dispersing rotor (7) relatively to the container (5); and a screen (9) disposed in the dispersing rotor (7) for guiding the target material having been introduced in the dispersing rotor (7) through the treatment gap (S) to the insertion opening (55a).
