<p>The present invention refers to the synthesis of 5-(3-benzothiazole-2-yl-2-methyl-isothioureido)-2-hydroxy-benzo ic acid derived from 2-imine (di thiomethyl) benzothiazole and 5-aminosalicilic acid (ASA), which presents a higher antioxidant capacity and hepatoprotective acitivity than N-acetylcysteine (NAC) under oxidative stress situations (OS).</p> |
