The instrument has a head (2) e.g. cylindrical blank, including cutting edges and made of a ceramic material. A metallic cylindrical shaft (3) is clamped into a drive device i.e. angular piece. The head is provided with a fastening attachment (4) including an external thread (5). The shaft includes a front-side threaded recess (6), where the fastening attachment is threaded in the threaded recess. A locking recess (7) e.g. undercut, formed in a region between the fastening attachment and the threaded recess. The locking recess receives a form-fit locking element (8). An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a dental instrument. |
