<p>An implement moving apparatus comprises a support, five links and seven pivots. A first link L1 is pivotally attached to the support at a first pivot P1, a second link L2 is pivotally attached to the first link L1 at a second pivot P2, a third link L3 is pivotally attached to the second link L2 at a third pivot P3, a fourth link L4 is pivotally attached to the third link L3 at a fourth pivot P4 and pivotally attached to the first link L1 at a fifth pivot P5, a fifth link L5 is pivotally attached to the fourth link L4 at a sixth pivot P6 and pivotally attached to the support at a seventh pivot P7, the fifth pivot P5 is between the first P1 and second P2 pivots on the first link L1 and the sixth pivot P6 is between the fourth P4 and fifth P5 pivots on the fourth link L4. A distance between the first P1 and second P2 pivots is a fixed distance. The distance between each of the other pivots are fractions of the fixed distance. The mechanism has a first position and a second position. The implement may be a fork or a bucket. The implement will be kept level when it is lifted, stopping any unwanted crowding or dumping.</p> |
