主权项 1. A method for applying electrical current to a conductive biologic structure located in an environment, the method comprising: covering and contacting at least a portion of the biologic structure with a conductive medium being selected from a group consisting of a conductive liquid and a conductive gel, such that the conductive medium is in substantial electrical contact with the biologic structure, the conductive medium having a conductive medium surface separating it from the environment; fully immersing at least one non-conductive solid object within the conductive medium, wherein the non-conductive solid object is positioned between the biologic structure and the conductive medium surface, the non-conductive solid object having a solid object surface which is neither parallel nor perpendicular to the conductive medium surface, wherein there is no electrical connection to the non-conductive solid object, and wherein the nonconductive solid object does not contact the biologic structure; placing a means for applying a magnetic field within the environment such that the non-conductive solid object is located between the means for applying a magnetic field and the biologic structure, wherein the means for applying a magnetic field comprises one or more current carrying coils; and applying a magnetic field to the non-conductive solid object fully immersed within the conductive medium in order to produce a secondary source at the surface of the non-conductive solid object, wherein the secondary source applies electrical current to the biologic structure.
