The present invention relates to a water quality purification system for a river having a beam for increasing a water level of the river to improve the water quality of the river. According to the present invention, an upper end of the beam is concave to have a plurality of beam water passages formed thereon to allow the flow of river water, supporting jaws, which are defined as a first filter area, a second filter area, and a third filter area, respectively, formed at each lower part of the beam water passages in such a manner that a side surface of each beam water passage in view of a vertical section respective to a direction that the river water flows is cut out to be concave, connection holes, which pass through to allow the river water to flow downward, are formed between the first filter area and the second filter area and between the second filter area and the third filter area, the first, second, and third filter areas have first, second, and third filters, which receive river water flowing through the beam water passages and purify the received river water, respectively. |
