The present invention relates to an upward gravity continuous filtering apparatus, which comprises: a raw water distribution tank which primarily separates foreign substances from raw water introduced thereto; a filtering zone which filters the foreign substances via a filtering cloth as the raw water of the raw water distribution tank is introduced upstream; a reverse washing zone which reversely washes the filtering cloth transferred from the filtering zone, and a sludge zone which collects separated foreign substances to be discharged to the outside. The upward gravity continuous filtering apparatus according to the present invention can perform continuous and ceaseless filtering, minimize the generation of secondary waste water, and provide advantages of having a smaller installation area and a simpler structure of the apparatus compared to conventional apparatuses, having high filtering filtration efficiency, and requiring low maintenance costs. |
