The present invention provides a display device which comprises: a timing control unit including a gate start pulse generating unit outputting a gate start pulse (GSP) during a vertical blanking section where a data signal is not outputted; a gate output pulse generating unit sequentially outputting a gate output pulse (GOE) in accordance with the gate start pulse (GSP), a gate masking signal generating unit outputting a masking pulse and a dummy pulse respectively in accordance with a period of the gate output pulse (GOE), and a dummy signal generating unit; a gate driver generating a gate pulse by using the gate start pulse (GSP) and the gate output pulse (GOE), or using the dummy pulse; a data driver generating a data signal in accordance with the control of the timing control unit; and a display panel mounted with a thin film transistor, and displaying an image by using the gate pulse and the data pulse. |
