PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an infrared air float bar used for floating and drying a flat web material continuous in a drier machine, capable of providing additional convective heat transition and additional web float support to a web, guiding air for cooling to a passage for maximizing cooling of surfaces of an emitter, an optical lens, and a reflector, and on the other hand, shielding the surfaces of the emitter, lens and reflector from contamination, thereby providing improvement superior to conventional arts.SOLUTION: Plural primary air jets create a pressure field in which the web is supported under a floating state, and supplied air supplied by the primary air jets may be heated for promoting heat for drying the web and/or transition of mass of the web. |
