PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress cohesion of volatile matter of vaporized platinum, platinum alloy, etc., used in a process of manufacturing a glass substrate by a molten glass processing device for molten glass made of the platinum or platinum alloy.SOLUTION: Molten glass is guided to a molding device by using a molten glass processing device which has a liquid-phase space which has molten glass, a vapor-phase space located above the liquid level of the molten glass, and an inner wall which forms the liquid-phase space and vapor-phase space such that at least a part of the vapor-phase space is formed of a material including platinum group metal, and forms an air current in the vapor-phase space so that the air current does not pass through a region lower than the temperature at which the platinum group metal included in the vapor-phase space reaches saturation vapor pressure. |
