<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a styrenic resin foam sheet which avoids troubles in molding such as sheet molding, and to provide the styrenic resin foam sheet. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a styrenic resin foam sheet in which a styrenic resin composition is extrusion-foam-molded using a circular mold to obtain a tubular foam body and the tubular foam body obtained is stretched along a cooling mandrel in the circumferential direction. The circular mold CD used is constituted in a way that the difference in the angle of inclination between the inner circumferential surface of the outer mold OR and the outer circumferential surface of the inner mold CL of the circular mold CD is 1 degree to 10 degrees. During the extrusion foam molding the difference in temperature between the inner mold CL and the outer mold OR of the circular mold is kept at not greater than 35°C. The tubular foam body obtained is air-cooled both from the inner and outer circumferential sides. The air-cooled foam body is stretched in the circumferential direction with the cooling mandrel MD having an outer diameter of 3.1 times to 4.5 times the diameter of the extrusion port to obtain the styrenic resin foam sheet 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
