PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle seat which can improve a degree of freedom in design.SOLUTION: A vehicle seat, which comprises a seat cushion and a seat back, comprises: left and right side frames 20, constituting left and right frames of the seat back; a pressure-receiving member 40, arranged between the left and right side frames 20 to receive a load from a crew member; and a drive mechanism 50, arranged on both sides left and right of the pressure-receiving member 40, moving the left end part or the right end part of the pressure-receiving member 40 from an initial position to an advance position ahead, or from the advance position to the initial position. The drive mechanism 50 has a coupling mechanism (drive link member 100 and contact link member 200) to be coupled with the pressure-receiving member 40 and a driving source 52 for actuating the coupling mechanism. The coupling mechanism is so constituted as to actuate when a predetermined or more of load is inputted to the pressure-receiving member 40 from the crew member and move the pressure-receiving member 40 to a retreat position behind the initial position. |
