<p>The invention relates to a membrane for supporting cells, especially retinal pigmented epithelial (RPE) cells. The membrane is useful in the treatment of conditions such as age related macular degeneration. The membrane may also be used to support retinal pigmented epithelial cell precursors and retinal cell derivative cells formed from the differentiation of RPE on the membrane.</p> |
