PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging medium storage container which can suppress a possibility that a flap provided by cutting and raising a part of a front plate is fitted back to the cut again and made difficult to stand up.SOLUTION: A packaging medium storage container 3 for storing a packaging medium wound body 2 wound in a cylindrical shape comprises a front plate 5 in which one surface 30 of a rectangular parallelepiped is opened in a rectangular form and which shares one of long sides of the opening 30. The front plate 5 has a flap 20 that is cut out by a cut line CL that cuts out a portion of the front plate 5. The flap 20 is configured so that its tip is cut out at a position separated in a perpendicular direction of a base part 21, and a tip 37 of the flap 20 is provided by offsetting a folding line 21 L from the cut line CL so as to overlap the front plate 5. An amount of positional deviation between the folding line 21 L of the flap base part 21 and a folding line 38 L between the front plate 5 and a sub front plate 7 is formed in a range from 0.1 mm to 0.5 mm.
