<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aromatic polyester composition which improves productivity and suppresses generation of a by-product of acetaldehyde without deteriorating transparency of a bottle and a method for producing the aromatic polyester composition. <P>SOLUTION: In the method for producing an aromatic polyester composition, an aromatic polyester is acquired by melt polycondensation reaction of an aromatic dicarboxylic acid or an aromatic dicarboxylic acid diester and a glycol compound in the presence of a catalyst, and the aromatic polyester is blended with a mixture of poly(hexamethylene terephthalate) having a hydrophilic group and an alkali metal compound or an alkali earth metal compound. In the method for producing aromatic polyester, the blended amount of poly(hexamethylene terephthalate) having the hydrophilic group with respect to the amount of aromatic polyester is 1.0-100 ppm, and the blended amount of the alkali metal compound or the alkali earth metal compound with respect to the amount of aromatic polyester is 0.1-100 ppm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
