摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sluice gate shutting system in which excessive water and foreign matters such as sediment can be blocked from flowing into a channel by automatically unlocking a shutter plate in the case where the quantity of water in the channel increases. <P>SOLUTION: A sluice gate shutting system comprises, in an agricultural water intake, a float 6 for detecting a water level, a shutter plate 2 for shutting an introduction port of a channel, a hold mechanism 9 for holding the shutter plate 2 in a state of opening a channel and a housing 1 for accommodating them. In the case where a water level of a river increases because of heavy rainfall and reaches a preset dangerous water level, a lock pin 9 of the hold mechanism for holding the shutter plate 2 is unlocked by the float 6 of the sluice gate shutting system, the unlocked shutter plate 2 is turned around a shutter plate rotary shaft 3 and falls down, and the introduction port 11 is shut. Thus, excessive water and foreign matters such as sediment can be prevented from flowing into the channel under abnormal increase of water of the river or the like. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p>
