PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide methods and systems for transcribing portions of a telephone conversation into text.SOLUTION: A method enables users to request transcription by pressing a button on a mobile device, with the request transmitted to a server including transcription software. The server transcribes some or all of the telephone conversation into text, and transmits the text to the mobile device. The text data is scanned to identify selected information, and only the selected information is transmitted to the mobile device. The selected information is automatically stored in a memory of the mobile device, such as in an address book.
