This liquid crystal display device (10) is provided with: an LED (24); a light guide plate (18) having a light incident surface (18A) that is arranged so as to face the LED (24); a chassis (15) having a bottom plate part (15A) that is divided into a light source supporting part (15A2) which supports the LED (24) and a light guide plate supporting part (15A1) which supports the light guide plate (18); a liquid crystal panel (11) that is arranged on the front surface side of the light guide plate (18); a source-side flexible substrate (30) which has one end (30A) connected to the liquid crystal panel (11), and a part of which is bent to the back surface side of the bottom plate part (15A) in the light source supporting part (15A2); a source substrate (32) that is connected to the other end (30B) of the source-side flexible substrate (30) and transmits a signal to the source-side flexible substrate (30); and a first heat dissipation sheet (HS1) that is sandwiched between the back surface of the bottom plate part (15A) and the source-side flexible substrate (30) in the light source supporting part (15A2) so as to be in contact with the back surface of the bottom plate part (15A) and the source-side flexible substrate (30). |
