Provided is an optical lens that is favorable for use in glasses provided with a pattern that is visible from the outside while being able to secure the field of vision of a wearer without discomfort. The optical lens (1a) is provided with: a lens substrate (11); an antireflection film (15) disposed covering one primary surface side of the lens substrate (11); and a transparent pattern (19a) comprising a light-transmissive material provided to a position layered to the antireflection film (15). The transparent pattern (19a) is viewed from the one primary surface side of the lens substrate (11). The antireflection film (15) has a configuration of a low refractive index film (15a) and a high refractive index film being layered in alternation. The transparent pattern (19a) is provided between the layers of the antireflection film (15), above the antireflection film, or below the antireflection film. |
