<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a failure when required temperature is changed from a high temperature side to a low temperature side.SOLUTION: A water heater includes: a tank; a hot water tapping path for feeding hot water from the tank to a heat source; a hot water supply path for feeding the hot water from the heat source to a hot water supply place; a bypass path for feeding the hot water from the hot water tapping path to the hot water supply path; a water supply path for supplying water to the hot water tapping path; a plurality of valves for adjusting a flow rate of each path respectively; a temperature sensor provided at the hot water tapping path or the hot water supply path; and a controller for controlling the heat source and the plurality of valves so that measured temperature by the temperature sensor becomes required temperature of a user. The controller, under a predetermined condition, stores a high/low switching flag when the required temperature is changed from the high temperature side to the low temperature side by striding over predetermined temperature, and while it stores the high/low switching flag, even when hot water of the temperature equal to or higher than the required temperature exists in the tank, it controls the plurality of valves and inhibits all the hot water tapped from the tank from being fed to the hot water supply path by passing through the bypass path.</p> |
