Various methods for providing cell type specific measurement configuration are provided. One example method may include receiving configuration data comprising an indication of one or more events configured to trigger a report. The configuration data may comprise an indication of one or more cells associated with the one or more events. The method of this example embodiment may further include providing for transmission of a report, wherein the report is provided for transmission in response to an occurrence of at least one of the one or more events associated with at least one of the one or more cells.
