The present invention relates to a mini tunnel system (21) for an asparagus bed (22), comprising a foil element (17) which is held spaced from the asparagus bed (22) by means of a multitude of holder elements (1) arranged in the longitudinal direction of the asparagus bed (22). Each of the holder elements (1) comprises a fixing part (3), which is fixed to a ground surface (23) near or on the asparagus bed (22). Each of the holder elements (1) comprises a foil supporting part (7) which is in contact with the foil element (17). According to the invention, the foil supporting part (7) extends in the longitudinal direction of the asparagus bed (22), substantially at an angle different from 0° relative to the ground surface (23). The invention further relates to a method for producing a mini tunnel system (21) according to the invention.
