The present invention relates to a pouch type secondary battery including a sealing part on the edge of an exterior case. The pouch type secondary battery according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention comprises an electrode assembly; a pouch type case storing the electrode assembly; and a first lead and a second lead electrically connected to the electrode assembly. The edge of the end in which the leads are exposed among the ends of the pouch type case is sealed to form a lead side sealing part, includes a support protrusion extended in a certain length (D1) from the inside of the pouch type case toward the electrode assembly from the lead side sealing part to limit movement of the electrode assembly, wherein the support protrusion includes a groove part which is inserted in a certain length (D2) toward the lead side sealing part from the end of the support protrusion. |
