SYSTEM FOR CLEANING EARS BY VIBRATIONS.

Described is a device for cleaning ears, which may be used by a person to clean his own ears whenever it is required in a safe manner, whit the purpose of avoiding the occlusion of the auditory canal caused by the excessive production of earwax and its consequences. Said device comprises a system that includes an electric vibration motor, a disposable or rechargeable battery and a piezoelectric component for generating mechanical vibrations within a vibration frequency range of from about 1 Hz to about 1 MHz, contained into a hermetic and/or water resistant carcass that allows the waves resulting from the vibration source to be propagated to the outer auditory channel. The system may be used while the person is having a shower. The structure an interface of such a device may be of two different forms. The first interface for transmitting vibrations includes an elastomer configured in such a manner that the system may be comfortably bitten by the human and in a suitable anatomic positi on for promoting the transmission of the vibrations through the skull bone. The second interface for transmitting vibrations includes an elastomer configured in such a manner that the system may be comfortably placed around the ear and in a suitable anatomic position for promoting the transmission of the vibrations through the skull bone. The transmission of said vibrations through the skull bones to the outer auditory channel will result in the safe removal of earwax, avoiding the occlusion of the auditory canal and further consequences.
