A toner resin comprising a polyester consisting of an alcohol monomer and an acid monomer, wherein said alcohol monomer or said acid monomer comprises a polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxane (POSS) monomer of the formula:wherein R2 and R3 may be the same or different, each of at least two R groups comprises a hydroxyl group or each of at least two R groups comprises an acid group, or a salt thereof and each of R2 and R3 comprises an aliphatic alkyl group, which may be branched; an unsaturated alkyl group, which may be branched; a cyclic group, which may be aromatic; a halide; a hydroxyl group; an acid, or a salt thereof; an amine; a nitrile; a cyanate; and amide; or combinations thereof. |
