Disclosed is a method for constructing descriptions for a video content recommending system. According to an embodiment, the descriptions include: a user description (UD) including use history information about video contents of a user along with static and dynamic information about the user; a context description (CD) including context information of video contents and environmental situation information where the user is disposed; and a service description (SD) including related service information specifying a service of a video contents service provider. The video content recommending system generates a recommendation description for recommending a particular video contents provider selected based on the UD, CD, and SD to be provided to the user. |
