PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid composition producing apparatus and method that can uniformly agitate and mix a high viscosity component in a short time, have excellent washability, and can produce a high quality liquid composition with high productivity.SOLUTION: A liquid composition producing apparatus is provided with two agitation tanks 10 each of which includes a tank body 11 storing a common component liquid B and characteristic imparting components C and an agitation blade 12 comprising a plurality of stirrers 12a mixing the components. In the tank body 11, a tank wall inner surface 11A and a bottom inner surface 11B are formed into a smooth surface, and a ratio of the inner diameter D of the tank body 11 to the maximum height h of the water level in the tank body 11 is in a range of 0.9-2.0. The agitation blade 12 comprises a one-stage blade that rotates and is arranged in the vicinity of the bottom inner surface 11B of the tank body 11. The production capacity is 1-30 t/h, the maximum storage amount of each of the agitation tanks 10 is 1,000 kg or less, and the extraction time T of a liquid composition A from the agitation tank 10 is 2-8 min. The relationship between the extraction time T, the charging time I, and the agitation time t is represented by following equation, T≥I+t. The agitation time T is 1 min or more. |
