<p>The present invention relates to a device capable of playing music or videos. The device includes: a communications unit establishing a connection to a first device through short-range communications; a player playing music or videos; and a control unit which controls the device to transmit the data regarding the videos or music being played to the first device through the short-ranged communications connection to the first device. The control unit stores first information for identifying the device with the short-ranged communications connection and second information regarding the playback of the music or videos in a session list, identifies the device just established such connection based on the first information, and automatically runs the player based on the second information according to the identification information. Accordingly, a user can play the videos and music by recovering the last session automatically without having to run a music playback application, search for the last track to be played again, or carry out other bothersome tasks after every time the short-ranged communication connection is released. In other words, the present invention enables the user to easily play the videos or music.</p> |
