Disclosed are systems and a method generally relating to a solid state memory and, more specifically, to systems and methods for recycling data in a solid state memory. To achieve this, according to the present invention, a data processing system comprises: a memory device to be operated to maintain a data set; a data decoder circuit to be operated to repeatedly apply a data decoding algorithm to the data set accessed by the memory device more than once and to provide a repeat count showing the application repetition of the data decoding algorithm to the data set; and a recycling control circuit to be operated to recycle read data corresponding to the data set. |
