<p>An adjustable support assembly 1 for supporting an edge of a panel 2 comprises a support member 3 including first and second ends the first end including a coupling to enable connection of the support member 3 to an anchorage 6 and the second end including a recess 4 to receive and retain therein an edge of a panel 2. The coupling at the first end includes a collar 14 which receives and retains the first end of the support and a fastener 5 which secures the support assembly 1 to the anchorage 6. The coupling is arranged so that the collar 14 and fastener 5 cooperate to enable adjustment of the elevation of the support member 3 relative to the anchorage 6. The adjustment of the elevation of the support member 3 allows accommodation of misalignments between the support assembly 1 and the panel 2, when connecting the panel 2 to the support assembly 1. Relative rotation between the collar 14 and the support member 3 allows the support member 3 to move between a lowest position relative to the collar 14 and a highest position upon rotation of the collar 14.</p> |
