In the field of a waste disposal, a nickel-chrome-molybdenum-copper alloy which is tolerance to sulphuric acid of 70% at 93°C and sodium hydroxide of 50% at 121°C for neutralizing acid and alkali; the alloy contains chrome of 27 to 33 wt.%, molybdenum of 4.9 to 7.8 wt.%, copper of 3.1 to 6.0 wt.% (in the case of chrome of 30 to 33 wt.%), or copper of 4.7 to 6.0 wt.% (in the case of chrome of 27 to 29.9 wt.%), iron of the most 3.0 wt.%, manganese of 0.3 to 1.0 wt.%, aluminium of 0.1 to 0.5 wt.%, silicon of 0.1 to 0.8 wt.%, carbon of 0.01 to 0.11 wt.%, nitrogen of the most 0.13 wt.%, magnesium of the most 0.05 wt.%, a rare-earth element of the most 0.05 wt.%, and the remainder of nickel and impurities. Titanium or another MC carbide former may be added in order to enhance a heat stability. |
