The lower layer has two density zones.

a. a topsheet; b. a backsheet; and c. an absorbent core disposed between the topsheet and the backsheet, the absorbent core comprising:
i. an upper layer comprising a layer of foam proximate the topsheet, the foam comprising a plurality of cells; andii. a lower layer comprising fibers and absorbent polymer material; d. wherein the absorbent core upper layer and/or the absorbent core lower layer comprises a plurality of holes, slits, or apertures extending therethrough.
