The purpose of the present invention is to provide a device for controlling a discontinuous transmission mode, which is capable of controlling cells that operate in the discontinuous transmission mode, a method for controlling a discontinuous transmission mode and a method for measuring a discontinuous transmission mode. According to an embodiment of the present invention, a method for controlling a discontinuous transmission mode allows a base station to set a discontinuous transmission mode in a heterogeneous network environment where a macro cell and a plurality of small cells overlap each other. The method for controlling a discontinuous transmission mode comprises the steps of: setting at least one small cell within the macro cell as a discontinuous transmission mode; defining a signal related to the discontinuous transmission mode by a base state of the small cells set as the discontinuous transmission mode; and transmitting the defined signal as a downlink signal by the base state of the small cells. |
