The present invention provides a filament feeder for a Torchon lace machine configured so that carbon thread is fed to a knitting unit without being fluffed. The yarn feeder for a Torchon lace machine pertaining to the present invention is characterized in being provided with: a spindle (6) disposed upright on a runner (4) moving along a trajectory (3) due to the rotation of a rotor metal (2); and an upright body (9) having a bobbin stopper (13) and a filament opening (11) through which a carbon filament (K) wrapped around a bobbin (7) rotatably inserted into the spindle (6) is drawn, said filament feeder being configured so as to be able to form the carbon filament (K) into a U shape between rollers (17, 22) having filament guides, the rollers being provided, respectively, on the proximal end side and the distal end side of a top member (16) of the upright body (9), and a roller (19) having a filament guide, said roller being provided on a sliding body (18) provided so as to be capable of sliding vertically below the top member (16), and said filament feeder being configured to supply the filament to a knitting part. The invention is configured so that the carbon filament is smoothly fed to the knitting part. |
