<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temporary embankment reinforcing material and a construction method in which a worker is prevented from approaching an embankment break place in embankment break prevention work in the flood, and a maintenance material is guided and set in the bottom of the embankment break place by operation from a remote location, and thereby the scour and outflow of the embankment break can safely be suppressed by anyone, resulting in maintaining the embankment.SOLUTION: A scour prevention device 4 for preventing the movement, scour and outflow of embankment soil in a damaged place where a river embankment break is concerned is fastened by a rope 3 to a bearing pile 2 fixed upstream along an embankment 23, and dumped and made to flow down in a torrent. The scour prevention device 4 is set in the bottom of the damaged part of the embankment 23 in the place where the dimension of the rope 3 with a length adjusted to reach a break place is fully elongated. A water absorption inflated polymer sandbag of the scour prevention device 4 set in the bottom forms a barrier between the torrent and the embankment damaged part, and thereby the scour and outflow of the embankment are prevented.</p> |
