摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To combine atomization of spray and improvement in a degree of freedom in designing spray shape, penetration force and distribution of an injection amount by utilizing axis-switching phenomenon.SOLUTION: In a fuel injection valve 1, a plurality of injection holes 39 arranged in the circumferential direction of an injection hole plate 33, include at least one switching injection hole 392. The switching spray produced by the switching injection hole 392, generates axis-switching phenomenon at a prescribed distance from the injection hole 392, and changes directions of a long axis and a short axis in the cross-sectional shape in a face vertical to the injecting direction. Thus the cross-sectional shape of a face vertical to the injecting direction of at least one spray among the sprays forming the whole spray 60, is changed so that it is controlled to be oriented in the desired direction.</p>
