<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To observe cells in culture at high magnification.SOLUTION: A cover member comprises, in a microscope,: a transmission part that lies between an objective lens facing an observed object and the observed object, and transmits emerging light emerging from the observed object; and a contact prevention part that, when a surface facing the observed object in the transmission part is immersed by a liquid, prevents the objective lens from contacting with the liquid. In the cover member, the transmission part may include cover glass retained by the contact prevention part.</p> |
